The HGDT team are delighted to share this years social accounts with you. Collating this years statistics, case studies and impact statements has been no easy task. There are so many fantastic and life changing activities happening here at High Green Development Trust and The Campus it really is difficult to capture it all. Each week we estimate around 1000 people are impacted by the work happening here. Whether that is through volunteering and employment opportunities, attending a group such as the many craft and art sessions, accessing vital services such as the community fridge and food share, bringing their child to nursery or popping into the cafe for a cuppa - The Campus is a hive of community activity that makes a real difference to peoples lives.
We are particularly proud of our achievements and progress in developing the Community Corner spaces, expanding our youth offer and becoming a Family Hubs Network member to bring more services for parents, carers and children to High Green. We will continue to develop our community spaces and our range of services, activities and events in 2024/2025; always with a mindset of inclusivity and providing opportunities to everyone in our community no matter their background or circumstances.
Whilst it is recognised there is still much to do in tackling issues faced by the High Green community in what are difficult economic circumstances, we remain determined to harness the power of local people, their skills and passion giving them the resources to achieve their full potential. We’d like to extend our thanks to every individual and every organisation who has given their time, skills, support or funds to support High Green Development Trust - we couldn’t have done any of this without you.
